HeyProactive SMS Messaging Policy

How HeyProactive text messages work: what we send, who receives them, how consent happens, and how to opt out at any time.
What these messages are
HeyProactive sends customer care and service coordination messages between homeowners and their saved service partners (plumbers, HVAC technicians, electricians, and similar professionals). Messages are transactional and conversational — SMS is used for customer care and service coordination, not marketing.

- Appointment coordination and scheduling
- Homeowner-written messages to their service partner
- Service partner replies relayed back to the homeowner
- Homeowner-approved home maintenance context, such as an appliance type or model number

Who receives messages
- Service partners connected to a homeowner's HeyProactive account
- Users and recipients involved in coordinating a specific service request or appointment
Service partners are never messaged cold, in bulk, or for marketing. A partner only receives texts when a homeowner they already work with starts or continues a service conversation with them through HeyProactive.
Consent and message flow
Homeowners initiate service coordination from inside the HeyProactive app by adding or selecting a saved service partner and sending a message or service request. The service partner's phone number is the one they provided to the homeowner in the course of doing business together.
The first SMS a recipient receives identifies HeyProactive and the homeowner, explains that they can simply reply to respond, and includes opt-out instructions. Recipients can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
